• Salary is 18025 HKD per month
• Pay tuition fee of 3500 per month from your salary.

Hong Kong Fellowship

• Salary is 26000-32000 HKD per month for different research universities.
• In some universities, first year on-campus residence is subsidized (Free). For remaining years, pay your rent.
• Limited quota 300-400 seats per year.
• Direct admission application to university and HKPFS. However, the potential supervisor is very helpful to acquire the HKPFS.
• Three year funding. However, if your normative period is four years, you will be funded by university.

Presidential Award

• All the perks are like studentship
• Additional 80000 HKD per 3 years. 40K first year, 20-20K second and third year.
• 3Family visa sponsorship is possible. Its possible that 2-3 people will live a reasonable life in 13000 to 16000 HKD per month. The visa application will take 2-4 months for your family.
• If you are single, you may have a very good on-campus residence. Single room is 3500-4000 HKD per month. Two people sharing is 2500 HKD per month. Universities like CUHK and UST have far more on-campus availability than other universities.
• Living off-campus is a bit compromising. A liveable small studio will cost you around 6000 HKD or more. You may find small rooms also 4000-6000 HKD depending upon the area. A bit spacious rooms starts 8000 and greater. Don't worry, Hong Kong residence is conjusted thus expensive.
• Don't forget delicious food store in Sham Shui Po, Chunking Mansions in Tsim Tsa Tsui, and many more.
• More than 1% of community are of Indians, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
• People are good and friendly, but arrogant. Don't worries, Chinese people are more warm than local Hong Kongers, and you will find them everywhere.
• Nature friendly country. Beaches, cliffs, hiking, sear, rivers, bay, and down towns. Centralized system of transport.
• Once you graduate, you will get 1 year job seeking visa called IANG. After one year, if you have valid job offer, it will extend to 3 years. Then after 3 years, extension of 3 more years depending upon the job. Living 7 years in HK will make you a permanent resident.
• Far better and humongous job opportunities than Canada and different countries of Europe.
• If you are on legal visa status, you will get very cost-effective medical services like a Hong Kong resident. But, only in public hospital, which are very good.
